Customer Service


Long-term temporary with strong potential for hire. Shifts are typically 8 hours per day. Hours may fall between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Days: Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays.

PAY: $14.00 per hour


The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers that include medical offices, insurance companies, and patients.

This is a fast-paced customer-facing environment. Tasks come from multiple directions – in-person, telephone, fax, and email. The ideal CSR maintains composure while handling multiple demands; is motivated by challenges; and remains conscious that it takes a team to manage the many requests for information, products, and general assistance. Taking responsibility for one’s own tasks is equally important as supporting teammates.

The ideal CSR always provides excellent customer support while also assisting in selling medical equipment. Product knowledge is expected to be developed over time.

The ideal candidate is always punctual and dependable. The store opens on-time. The CSR must be in his/her seat and ready to perform. Other character traits of the ideal CSR include: responsible, efficient, problem-solver, consistent, empathetic, and effective communicator. Being technologically savvy is an extreme plus. However, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.


Must have excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and customer service skills that include empathy and patience. Must be able to interact effectively with both internal and external customers, both in person and utilizing the phone. Must be able to, at a high pace, constantly, consistently, and accurately multi-task, particularly while interacting with customers while on the computer. Proficient use of the computer including Microsoft Office applications is required. Must be able to operate within a multiple-monitor, multiple-windows computer environment.


• High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.

• Medical background including Respiratory Therapy and Nursing experience is a plus.

• Medical billing experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, problem-solving, written and oral communication and customer service skills needed.

• Proficiency in MS Office required.

• Familiar with copy machine, fax machine operation.

• Must be able to operate a hand truck.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as randomly administered drug screens.
