S. Brooks and Associates, Inc. (SBAI) was certified as an 8(a) firm in 1998, eventually successfully completing the program in 2007. By that time SBAI had worked with agencies including the Bureau of Land Management, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Federal Highway Administration, and General Services Administration. The company was successfully able to transition out of the 8(a) program, and has continued to do business with Federal agencies. In 2013, Samuel Brooks, CEO of SBAI, was awarded the 8(a) Graduate of the Year Award by the Small Business Administration Portland Region.
Professional Services Schedule (PSS), GS-00F-121CA
Effective October 1, 2015, two of S. Brooks and Associates Inc.’s General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contracts (MOBIS and LOGWORLD) were consolidated into the Professional Services Schedule (PSS), Contract Number GS-00F-121CA. Prior to this integration, SBAI provided professional and technical program support services under legacy MOBIS contract (GS-02F-0231W), and logistic and supply chain management under legacy LOGWORLD contract (GS-02F-0259Y). The mandated consolidation reflects GSA’s move to provide federal customers a more streamlined approach to acquire services and reduce administrative cost at a shorter lead time.
Whether via our PSS, or under separate Schedules, our service offerings remain unchanged. SBAI program support services focus on: Acquisition/Procurement Management; Realty, Public Land Use, Leasing; Construction Estimating; and Logistics/Supply Chain Management. Our experience and expertise were gained working with the Bureau of Land Management, Fish and Wildlife Service, General Services Administration, Veterans Affairs, and Department of Transportation among others.
Federal agencies continue to partner with SBAI, because we meet or exceed the quality standards and expectations of our clients. We do this by recruiting, utilizing and retaining highly qualified staff; by having our management and staff collaborate with our clients to determine the best approach to achieve the necessary deliverables; and by ensuring compliance with internal and agency procedures while still keeping our focus and priority on meeting client needs. We encourage federal agencies to review our ratings on CPARS.
